Hi,
Pleased that I have now reached the 275 mile/440 kilometre
hurdle! Soon only 100 miles/160 kilometres to go…..
CAN YOU HELP ME RAISE THE £695 I NEED TO REACH MY GOAL OF £1,000
for BRAIN TUMOUR RESEARCH?
Although brain cancer is less common than
many other cancers, on average in England, 11 people are diagnosed with
brain cancer and 9 people die from brain cancer EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.
This means that by the end of March when I
cease to raise funds 120 people will be have been diagnosed, out of which
almost 100 will have tumours that will be classed as inoperable.
This puts my goal of £1,000 into perspective. It
really is a drop in the ocean. So please log into my page below and give as
generously as you can.
Thank you, it is really appreciated.
On the brighter side it has been announced that the
parliamentary debate
I mentioned in an earlier blog is to be
held on Monday, 18th April.
Please ensure your M.P. will
attend and vote in favour of an increase in
funding.
If you feel this blog could be passed on to others so that our
efforts towards
building 7 specialist clinics will become even
nearer to a reality please do.
Langton
