Since Brain Tumour Research was formed in 2009 hundreds of thousands have developed and tragically died from what is often a life threatening form of cancer.
Yet only 1% of the national spend on cancer research goes towards finding a cure.
So today's predicted ride in the heavy rain and wind is nothing in comparison with the suffering and grief many have to cope with.
Help me to change that by just giving a little as I head towards reaching my goal of £1,000 by the end of this month.
By the end of today my clothes should be dry enough to wear again and head back.
In the meantime it is a bowl of porridge, to give a slow release of energy during the day followed by a hearty hot meal at lunch time!
